August 26, 2017- 2nd Vacation Bible Day

August 19, 2017- Vacation Bible Day

July 9, 2017 - After our own evening service, our choir and then some, attended the evening service at BBC Elmont (Long Island) to bid farewell to Pastor James Barker who resigned as Pastor to follow the Lord's leading to plant another independent baptist church in Naples, Florida. It was a saddening occasion, and yet there was gladness. Pastor Carl Lubin was installed as the new Pastor of the church. The church remains in good hands. Pastor James Barker had an important role in the establishment of BBCJH, and we are forever thankful to the Lord for him. Check out the photos from last night's service.

July 9, 2017 - Friend Day was a success with 10 visitors in our morning service. Pastor Taala's message was about Friendship With Jesus from John 15:12-19. One visitor was a muslim exchange student from Turkey. She heard the Gospel and felt the warmth of our fellowship. Thank you church for being in your places for Friend Day.

July 6, 2017 - Babies Shower by WINGS

New member Rodelyn Karganilla, and newest member Maria Doka, are just about to deliver the newest church babies, and they're both girls! Last night, at the monthly ladies' fellowship, they threw a shower for both mothers and babies at the church basement. These photos tell you they had a wonderful time of fellowship aside from the great lesson by Sis Jasmine.

July 2, 2017 - Church Barbecue

Our annual church 4th of July barbecue (which is our second official annual summer barbecue) is normally held on the Sunday before or after July 4 (AFTER THE EVENING SEREVICE) Today we had around 40 mostly members stay for the barbecue. What great fellowship and such great food! Always a very warm fellowship centered around Christ at BBCJH!

June 18-21, 2017- Revival Conference

This year's revival conference was tremendous. We averaged 40 people come every night (18th through the 21st) and many many were at the altar of prayer at the invitation. We heard and responded to powerful Holy Spirit preaching by Dr. Gary Gillmore (All the messages are up on our youtube channel). We saw unsaved visitors, new members, all church workers, and even some who we hadn't seen in months came, and all were revived by the work of the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow! p.s. We didn't see anyone make a public profession of faith, but one visitor on Sunday evening came back on Wednesday night. The seed of the Gospel was surely planted and immediately began to grow. We will make the announcement of his conversion to Christ, by His grace, and through the work of the Holy Spirit alone

June 9, 2017 - Sis Jasmine brought members of the choir (ladies only) to a conservative music event in Wilmington in Delaware where they participated in a conservative music event called voices in praise concert. They sang with other church choirs and a full orchestra!

May 29, 2017 - 2017 Memorial Day church barbecue was a wonderful success! This year we opened our church backyard to our neighbors and handed out flyers inviting them to our barbecue. One neighbor showed up! We had a total of 30 or more visitors join us. It was a great opportunity to present the Gospel. As usual, we had a TON of food, funny games, and sweet fellowship. Next is July 4 barbecue, which will be held on July 2, Sunday after the evening service.

Sight & Sound field trip 2017 on May 26, Friday. 40 of us (including visitors) got on a chartered bus down to Lancaster, PA to watch JONAH. We enjoyed every bit of the trip, from the GPS-less Bus, to the buffet, and especially the show itself. We got front row seats and got to interact with the cast and props. It was a beautiful production. Looking forward to next year's annual church S&S field trip.
